Quality Payments – How to Claim
NHS England has announced how contractors can submit their Quality Payment declaration/claim for both review points. The NHS BSA website will be open for online declarations as follows:
- For Review Point One (28 April 2017) from Monday 10 April 2017 at 09:00 to Friday 12 May 2017 at 23:59
- For Review Point Two (24 November 2017) from Monday 13 November 2017 at 09:00 to Friday 8 December 2017 at 23:59
Important: once you have submitted your online declaration it cannot be altered so it is imperative to check this thoroughly before submitting. Then please keep your confirmation email as evidence of submission.
Payments: For the first review point, payments to contractors will be made at the end of June 2017 and for the second review point, at the start of February 2018. Each point successfully achieved, will be paid at £64 per point for both review points. If the total funding available of £75m has not been paid to contractors after the second review point, remaining funds (up to a total of an additional £64 per point) will be redistributed as a reconciliation payment according to the total value of points claimed per contractor in the two declarations. Contractors will not be required to claim for this – it will automatically be paid out at the end of May 2018.
